John Jung on Chinese Immigration in the American South

John Jung, a psychology professor from Cal State Long Beach, has been writing extensively on the history of Chinese immigrant life in the Deep South during the twentieth century.  His first book was a memoir, Southern Fried Rice: Life in a Chinese Laundry in the Deep South, which depicted his childhood growing up in Macon, Georgia.  He has also written on Chinese laundries and groceries in the South too.
